Research Request for Meta-Analysis on Pre-Post, Quasi- and Experimental Research on Interest/Value

Hello Motivation SIG Colleagues,

We are conducting a meta-analysis of pre-post, quasi-experimental and experimental research comparing the effects of cooperation, competition and individualistic efforts on interest/value.

Although we have already conducted a rigorous search of this literature, unpublished studies can be especially difficult to retrieve. We are therefore interested in receiving dissertations, conference presentations, or other unpublished work (master theses, manuscripts that are in preparation/in press) that:

a) investigated the effects of cooperation, competition, or Individualistic efforts on interest or value

b) did not rely on a sample of one of your published studies and

c) intentionally manipulated cooperation, competition or individualistic efforts using an experimental, quasi-experimental, or pre-post design.

If you have or know of any such studies and are willing to share them, we would very much appreciate hearing from you. Please send all electronic documents to Alexandra Lee ([email protected]) by March 22, 2019.

We will cite all qualifying studies in the manuscript and send you a copy of the final paper. Thank you for any information you may be able to provide related to this project!

Sincerely,

Cary
