Congratulations on a fantastic annual meeting in San Antonio. Our program shaped up nicely, with over 400 in attendance for the session entitled “Motivation Theory Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow: Reflections of Founders and Descendants.” We are eagerly awaiting new submissions from you that will follow up with new theories, theorists, and ideas for the upcoming conference in NYC in 2018!

Additionally, as mentioned in the business meeting, we had a great panel of reviewers for last year’s meeting from six countries internationally. We encourage you to volunteer to review for our upcoming 2018 program in order to facilitate an even more dynamic program than we had last year. As of June 4, we currently have 50% more of you signed up to review than we did last year, and currently you represent viewpoints from 16 countries. That’s phenomenal, and you can still sign up to review for us through the end of the day today (June 5)!

The AERA 2018 proposal submission portal is open NOW, and will remain open through July 24. Details about program submissions can be found in the official call for submissions.
