The Human Development and Educational Psychology Program in the Division of Counseling and Psychology in the School of Education is pleased to announce a tenure track assistant or associate professor position for our M.A., Ed.S. and Ph.D. programs. Primary responsibilities include teaching graduate courses, providing advising and dissertation direction, supervising student research, chairing thesis and dissertation committees, and developing an active research program including grant writing and publication in national/international journals. Teaching assignments will include graduate statistics, cognition and motivation. Additional teaching assignments may be made based on professional and academic background and the needs of the Division. Faculty members are expected to make contributions in teaching, research, and service.
An earned doctorate (completed by August 22, 2018) in Educational Psychology or equivalent is required. Applicant must show evidence of accomplishments or strong potential for success in research, publications, grant writing, and professional service with preferred experience in psychometrics. Salary is commensurate with qualifications. This is a nine-month, tenure-track appointment with possibilities of summer employment.
