The Mindsets and Motivation Lab at Yale-NUS College seeks a post-Ph.D. scholar with training in social/personality psychology, educational psychology, or a related discipline. The project involves developing a psychological intervention to promote a growth mindset of interest among students and examining outcomes on academic achievement, motivation, innovation, and interest. Responsibilities include designing and conducting longitudinal field studies, plus lab experiments, training and managing research assistants, data analysis, writing manuscripts, and writing follow-up grant proposals. The fellowship is a 2-year position funded by a grant from the Ministry of Education likely beginning in January or February 2017. The Fellow will receive a 12-month salary plus benefits based on experience and qualifications. Furthermore, the fellow will be based in Singapore and will work closely with Principle Investigator, Dr. Paul A. O’Keefe (Yale-NUS College), as well as collaborators at Stanford University (Drs.
