Message from Carly Champagne, Graduate Committee Co-Chair

Hello Motivation SIG Graduate Students! This is the last call for those interested in the Junior Co-Chair position of the Motivation SIG Graduate Committee. The Junior Co-Chair will serve a two-year term, becoming the Senior Co-Chair after AERA 2018. Duties include organizing AERA events such as the popular Lunch with a Motivation Researcher and the Motivation Mentors program, managing social networking for grad students in the SIG, and serving as a representative for graduate students to the Executive Committee of the Motivation SIG. If you are interested and have not already done so, please send the following materials to me ([email protected]) by Thursday, JUNE 8, 2017.

 a.       A picture of yourself
b.       The name of your program and school
c.       The number of years you will have completed in your current program as of this summer
d.       A brief description of your research interests
e.       A statement of purpose (250-word max) describing why you would like to serve as Co-Chair and anything else you would like the voters to know about you in order to make an informed decision.

Fellow graduate students SIG members will vote on the next co-chair via a ballot on Friday, June 9, 2017 (look for this ballot on our web site, via email, and on our Facebook page).
