“Conversation with a Motivation Researcher” Event – Dear SIG Graduate Students – We are grateful to have the following senior researchers hosting small-group “conversations” with graduate students over breakfast or lunch in NYC: Jennifer Fredericks, Erika Patall, David Yeager, Chris Hulleman, Johnmarshall Reeve, Ann Renninger, and Kenn Barron. We hope you will enter your name for one of these highly sought-after events. To sign up, complete this survey by ranking your preferences by researcher, date, and time: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScq6wDdE5qNRg-NU8U9Ry6WbPiXLg5g9PM5OcKCAbRkqRc5tQ/viewform. Thank you!

Motivation Mentor Program Sign-Up: Are you new to the Motivation SIG, or do you know someone who is? Are you a grad student (or recent grad) SIG veteran who wants to help others learn the ropes of AERA? Each year the Motivation SIG gives new students an opportunity to connect with other students who have previously attended AERA to get helpful tips navigating the conference and to build relationships with other students. Students are paired primarily based on research interests and will touch base before, during, and after the conference at their convenience. Guidelines will be provided to both mentors and mentees to guide your meetings. The program does not require a large time commitment, just a willingness to meet someone new! If you’re interested in being a mentor OR mentee, please fill out this survey and you’ll be notified of your match by April. We hope you’ll consider participating.  Mentor Program Sign-up: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf7huQvv2pZ_FVa9h3ytWukASwBjy1p3mknFIwQ7ceKLN4bwA/viewform?usp=sf_link
