Advances in Motivation and Achievement Book Series Seeks Your Input!

Published by motsig on

Hello Motivation SIG members. Stuart Karabenick and I, Tim Urdan, as co-editors of the Advances in Motivation and Achievement book series, are planning the next volume in the series and seek your input. We have two questions that we’d like to ask you. If you’ve got ideas about one or both questions, please email your reply directly to Stuart and/or me. Here are the two questions:

  1. What do you think is one of the big ideas in motivation science that we should try to learn more about? As an example, one big question in motivation science is how teacher training might be modified to prepare teachers to support student motivation. What are some other questions?
  1. Who is/are the scholars doing work in this area of motivation science?

Send your ideas to skaraben@umich.edu and/or turdan@scu.edu

Thanks for your help!

Tim & Stuart
